Well I have qualified for the Vegas Weekly so chose not to enter too much.

We also have a TGF sponsored event with a bounty on my head so need to play that. But as 2 woudn't keep me occupied I thought it a good idea to enter the hilo game on Laddies. Although I am pretty clueless at it, I do find it very entertaining.

Doesn't matter what site I am on, they follow me everywhere... KK allin loses to AA. Build back up then QQ allin loses to... guess? Yup, KK! :D. No way back finishing 22nd.

LADDIES $10r OMAHA HILO 46 RUNNERS
Wouldn't know where to start with reporting on this, so will just give the position.
Even as a novice I saw some truly appalling stuff here. One guy Magik7 called off almost all his stack on a paired flushing board with just KK!! Amazing.
Surprisingly made the FT but not surprisingly went out with... yup KK!!
KKA3 suited to be precise and even I know that this is a pretty good hand with 9 left. Not good enough though.

SUMMARY.
Just KK. All I can say.

NOT IN THE MOOD

Really didn't want to play tonight after yet another fallout with a so-called mate who chose to attack regarding the forum. Just who do they think I am giving double standards for?? I try to be completely fair straight down the middle but it seems anyone I know feels the need to attack when I do something they don't like.

So having entered the $300 'Drop The Dead Daddy' then that happened, I chose to pull out as I would just be throwing money away.

So 3 smaller events tonight.

Nothing to tal about in rebuy period. Took the addon then doubled with QQ v AJ. Took little interest but found myself on FT.
10th from 69 for $25 :)

CRYPTO £9K GTEED £55. 220 RUNNERS
Just absolutely nothing happenend in 2 hours of poker. No hands, no showdowns. Nothing! Eventually won my first race of the season v TT to get into it.
Played superb after that until 20 ish left. Got disconnected and completely forgot about it while entertaining an idiot on Laddies who whinged that his AQ lost to my AK on an Axx flop. He had ignored my raises all the way and then whinged on and on. Anyway, back to this. Took connection back with 12 left and of course I am last... but made FT.
10th from 220 for £165 (I see a pattern evolving here)

LADDIES $50 2nd chance+ 111 RUNNERS
Wanted immediate double but won a hand so had to try different approach. Doubled to save $50 but woulda preferred the extra chips tbh.
Played superb until bubble time when I made my usual mistake of trying to bully too much and got caught every time.
Limped onto FT and was just determined to not come 10th 'cos these things really spook me out. 3 games... 400 runners total... 10th in all 3?? Not gonna let it happen!
Well beat the 10th place curse. Got 'em in with 33 called by KT!! No chance there then.
Finished 9th from 111 for $161

SUMMARY
Well it was another stressful day so I suppose I ought to be happy I made FT in all 3 for what it was worth. Played very bland if I am honest. The crypto discon thing didn't help and was in very good shape to take down the Laddies game but got impatient approaching FT.


Will need to seriously see how I can separate the forum from life. It seems I am bombarded all day with people wanting to start trouble or having trouble expecting me to sort it. Perhaps some were right and I should just not be admin any more and let someone else take the flak. Let's face it if someone else deleted an advert, I wouldn't have been MSN'd regarding double standards. It's not helping my enthusiasm for the forum or my concentration playing poker. What makes it worse is no matter how I try to just let it simmer, it always seems to end with a big baby telling me they are pulling out of this or that. Gettin yet another MSN rant at midnight from someone demanding to close his account 'cos he doesn't fit in' doesn't help. If they don't want to post, why do they just not post. I have had so many of these that I now realise it's just someone who wants to talk. Fine by me but doesn't help my poker situation.

Now I am ranting again and I am the only one who reads my blog. Gets it off my chest I suppose. See how I feel in the morning to decide what direction to take. Bollox to the lot of 'em.

Probably my worst ever DT performance. Made some massive laydown that perhaps I would not have made if it were individual which is shameful considering what I drill home... play your own game! Took a big hit with AK v JJ allin pre. Really should stop thinkin I might win a race. Still took some sick rivers to kill me off but v disappointed. Team going well so that helps.

Just unreal. I bide my time and wait for a hand... it arrives... AA utg. I raise 1200 from my 4500 stack. BANG. Whole internet crashes. If it wasn't so hilarious it would be funny. Just dunno what is happening right now but it is killing me. Just could mot hold a connection for 2 hands running after that. Ended lobbing it in with Q7 from SB during a rare connected moment and no outdraw for me. If I cant win 90% I ain't gonna win 40%!!

MASSIVE ERROR
Thought it was a rebuy and chose to deliberately wind it down after a rebuy and big loss. Got it under 3k to find it was double chance NOT rebuy!! Schoolboy error.
Managed to build up a nice stack considering including making a massive call with 22 on an 844 flop. He went allin for double the pot size with no draws out. Why? He shoed AK to give me nice stack.
Lost a big pot with KK v AA, no getting away.
I later decided to push with AK from BB after utg raised who had half my stack. Meantime a middle position went allin (shorter stack) so even more value. I called. At least I tried to!!! It was just as internet disconnected as described in the Laddies hands. I got back in time to have no bank left and found utg had called... with AJ. Mid pos had JJ and the A high flop made me chuckle and fucking chuckle!! 55k pot lost in the snow!!

6 hours later and we have gone from 648 runners to 8! Not really a lot to report. Just solid solid poker.

Finally with 3 left had Ac2c on the button and had to push. Ran straight into AK!! :(
No suckout and once again didn't outdraw ayone all night. When I do watch out!

SUMMARY
Well I would have preferred a DT performance but at least we got somewhere at last with the stars win.

Laddies: One sick beat and 55 disconnections. Just pointless.

SUNDAY IS $UNDAY

As usual, all the big games come out on Sunday so this is how I failed... erm I mean faired tonight.

SUNDAY WARM-UP 750K GTEED$215 4,068 Entrants
Was going extrmely well with double the average stack just before the 2nd break... then found my nemesis... no not KK... a race!! Lost half of stack with AKs v QQ. One of those races is going to make me a fortune one day. No way out of it.
From that point on it was just a frustrating run of waiting for my opportunity. Very frustrating to raise up with 88, get a reraiser after which I would have called. But then a re-raiser after that made me fold. Flop 88f5 and I would have taken out AA if not for the intermediate raiser for a massive pot.
Nothing else happened and with blinds going bananas had to push with A6o... straight into AK. Open-ended on flop gave me hope but alas no.

Close to 2 hours and just nothing happened to get excited about. Really nothing to say yet. A Royal flush helped to get a fairly average stack early on then very little to report for almost 3 hours.

Finally my patience is rewarded and I limp utg with AA. 2nd place puts in a small raise. I put in a further small raise and he pushes. Yeee Haaaaa. What has this tool taken me on with this time???? AA !!! FFS

Bided my time and after an early raiser I push with AK. Once again get a caller with shit - 77 - and once again it holds. I see some shit all around me and never get it in with crap. But can't win a race against tbh some diabolical calls. What he put me on to make the call? 22?

Nothing at all happened for the first hour and I found myself fairly short with 2300 chips. On the SB with AKs and a raise from middle is called from the button. I of course push and the 1st raiser instacalls with clearly no thought whatsoever about the player behind... with 66!! Yes it holds and I am on life support. Complete PLANK call.

Oops Crypto means I have the history... and its still an idiotic call and just doesn't deserve to hold.

Didn't recover and my 79 on 79x flop was not enough to beat open-ended straight draw. No real complaints, nothing happened.

SUMMARY
Overall, didn't put a foot wrong all night. 2 races with AK v low pairs crippled me in 2 games. One race with 77 v AQ knocked me out of another. Lasted longer than 3,500 runners on Stars. And two absolutely appalling beats saw me out of Laddies when the hands holding would have put me in prime shape for the FT and maybe the win.

All I can say is when this luck changes, it is going to be BIG. Real BIG!!
